Highlights from 2024 & 2025

John Wastring, Zaptec

John Wastring

"Norway’s success wasn’t about advanced technology — it was about basic economics, local incentives, and a clear decision to invest. AC charging is the new fiber. It’s simply expected."

John Wastring is CEO of Zaptec Sweden, where he leads the company’s mission to accelerate the shift toward electric mobility through smart, scalable charging solutions.

In his 2025 keynote, “Norway’s E-Mobility Success – A Playbook for Scandinavia or a One-Off?”, John shared lessons from Norway’s journey toward leading EV adoption and charging infrastructure. Building on Zaptec’s roots in Norway he highlighted the key factors—such as policies, business models, and technological innovations—that made it possible, and reflected on what Swedish property owners and stakeholders can apply when shaping their own sustainable and profitable e-mobility strategies.

Bringing together perspectives from technology, business, and policy, John offered practical insights into how the real estate sector can contribute to Scandinavia’s broader energy and mobility transition.

My Näslund, Flower

My Näslund

"Property owners can move from being passive consumers to active participants in the energy system — turning their assets into revenue-generating resources."

My Näslund is Business Developer at Flower, a Swedish next-gen energy company that leverages AI and machine learning to redefine how renewable energy is managed.

With an M.Sc. in Environmental Engineering from Lund University, My has dedicated her career to energy systems, sustainability, and the smart use of resources. Her academic and professional journey reflects a deep passion for renewable energy production and innovative energy management solutions.

In her 2025 keynote "The Future is Flexible: Redefining Energy Management in Real Estate", My explored how flexibility and AI-driven energy optimization can turn volatility and rising costs into new business opportunities. She demonstrated how property assets like EV chargers, batteries, and heat pumps can participate in flexibility markets — turning costs into revenue and enabling buildings to actively support the grid.

Teddy Flatau

Teddy Flatau

“If you leave this room with one thing… use standard-based charging.”

Teddy Flatau is the Co-founder and CEO of Wevo Energy, a pioneering company focused on transforming the electric vehicle (EV) charging landscape. He holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and has a rich entrepreneurial background.

At Wevo, Teddy is dedicated to "Electrifying Every Parking Space," making EV charging accessible in high-density, energy-constrained environments including apartment buildings, parking lots, and workplaces.

In his 2025 keynote, "10 lessons learned after Implementing EV-Charging in 1500+ MDUs" Teddy shared insights from Wevo’s experience and discussed the unique challenges of infrastructure development, load management, and financing. Flatau highlighted strategies for minimizing costs and maximizing efficiency through strategic planning and innovative technology.

Jana Neumann

Jana Neumann

"You cannot build enough parking for all your tenants. One shared car can replace 15 privately owned ones."

Jana Neumann is the Chief Operating Officer at Wunder Mobility, the global leader in ride-sharing software, with deployments in over 200 cities on five continents. Wunder Mobility's mature software and hardware products enable start-ups and mature operators in cities worldwide to launch and expand profitable bike/scooter/moped/car sharing services.

In her 2024 keynote, "Empower Shared Mobility for the Real Estate Industry", Jana shared her insights on how the real estate industry can empower shared mobility, unlock new business opportunities and alleviate the burden of parking shortages. She highlighted the environmental benefits and how property owners can use shared mobility as a competitive edge in the real estate market.
